Lessons from the Field: How an IT consultant uses PowerShell to get the job done

Read Post

David Stein will be joining us this month to discuss how code and more specifically, PowerShell has become a tool he uses to to help meet customers demands and solve problems. He will be sharing with us specific examples of how PowerShell was able to find very specific data that customers wanted to find but did not have the tools or knowledge on how to get answers they need.

David is an IT consultant working in the IT world since the 1980’s as a developer and infrastructure solutions professional who has amassed a huge backlog of experience on technologies that most admins use every day.

David works as a specialist on Microsoft platforms and products integration, including Windows, Office, System Center, SQL Server, and Active Directory. More recently David has worked as a consultant for Catapult Systems, focused on System Center, EMS, Azure, Azure AD, Office365, and Azure Automation with a heavy focus on PowerShell. David is also very active on social media (@skatterbrainzz on Twitter) and as a blogger (https://skatterbrainz.wordpress.com/) with a very sarcastic wit and always with an opinion to share. More importantly, the one thing David has is plenty of experiences to learn from.
